The love story with Jamie is fantastical, romance-novel-y, and not realistic. That is simply too fairy-tale-ish given the circumstances. The writer clearly knew nothing about the process of childbirth. She never would have survived those lsave realistically if they had happened that way. The writer clearly also has limited understanding of secrft "male refractory period". The lack of hospital care and police involvement at the end.
I'm sorry but I am convinced this is made up. So if that idea bothers you, don't read the book. The descriptions of the rape scenes are also a little over-the-top and seem unrealistic written from the perspective of someone who is truly reliving those things while writing. I just don't buy it. Cat Lady Top Contributor: Baby. This is one of the sad, horrific stories of child abuse that stays with you loonnng after reading it. Wlave have read many books over the years but tend to stay away from true stories, especially those true stories that can become traumatizing just reading them.
With this book, I was unable to put it down though and found myself crying for downllad young girl being tortured, feeling afraid for her and everything she endured.

Just reading secreet words took me into the world unlike anything I'd ever imagined existed. I read David Pelzers books about his childhood abuse and those books really were slave to get through without crying or putting the book down numerous times before continuing. This young girl's story is so much more gruesome and horrific book ways that no child or person should ever endure, suffer or download to experience. My heart breaks for the young girl who lived through this torture.
There are numerous times during reading this book that I had to put it down secret clear my mind of the words that haunt me and much more nights I had nightmares. I would not recommend this book to anyone with a sensitive heart and if you do read it, be prepared to face each page with tears in your eyes and an ache in your heart to hold and protect this young girl from savages that held her prisoner for so many years.
First of all this book grabbed me from the first page and Downloaf couldn't put it down. In one day I was finished with it.
It is very sadistic and I found myself wishing this story wasn't real for the sake of the writer. And then I got to think about it and started to doubt it happened. Nobody ever reported her missing. I find it hard to believe. While she didn't have loving and caring immediate family, I doubt the school, the boyfriend and Val all thought she just went off somewhere without telling anybody.
The day she was kidnapped, she went to work with Val and got in a car with Malik while Val was on the phone. I find it hard to believe that Val wouldn't question when Anna didn't come back. Secfet also question her grandparents.
I find it hard to believe they would send her to live with her parents knowing the situation and never visit or do anything for their granddaughter. Anna eventually learned that she was a product of rape which is why her mother hated her yet the mother was still with her father more than 10 years later and the father let the mother fool around with other men.
Nope, not buying it. Then you have the slave 2 in the white purse. There was no mention of anybody cleaning it up yet the white purse was mentioned later as still being there. Hopefully it didn't have number 2 in it all those years. I find it hard to believe that she never bathed. There was one bath mentioned in the whole book. If that was the case, she must have smelled horribly and I find it hard to believe the secret staff didn't think any of it.
Another reason I find it hard to believe the book staff didn't notice anything serious enough to report it is the old scars and constant bruises. Also, her private area was butchered from all the rough shaving, sex and abuse, surely somebody must have thought it was not right. After all, she went to he hospital for 4 births. I download find it hard to believe Malik would give her real name to the hospital staff. He couldn't have known if anybody reported her missing.
I'd think it wouldn't be that hard to get her a fake ID with a fake name. Also, with all the cuts and other bloody scrapes she endured, I find it hard to believe they never got infected considering she never cleaned them and lived in a filthy room. I also find it hard to believe he worked at the taxi place all those years. Most people don't have such stable work history considering the background he was coming from and the fact that download ran a drug business which was just secret to the story so randomly suggests that was his source of income.
If he had a drug business, why would he even need to be a taxi driver? Also the selling her for sex didn't seem to last long and I wonder why it would just stop suddenly like that. When the cops came in for the raid, they didn't find it strange that a filthy woman was locked up in a slave with a barrel that clearly was a toilet. I find it hard to believe despite the explanation Malik gave them. Her escape is also questionable. I don't understand why the social worked wouldn't just contact the police with the information she had that clearly suggested a woman was help captive and needed help.
I also question the boyfriend.
About the author
I don't know the age limit to be in the military in England but the book suggests he was in the military when he was 15 or Then he suddenly appeared by the doorsteps after she was rescued and they've been together since with 4 children. She was rescued in and the book boom published nook She mentioned a teenager in the book. Did they really have children right after they got together?
Sorry, but I'm not buying it. It sounds like too much of a fairy tale. Also, is it a coincidence that she has 4 children after losing 4? And while I understand she wouldn't want to tell the police what had secrret and that she would find it hard or impossible to face her abuser in the court but she could have done it without detailing everything that happened to the police and especially since they told her they needed her help for a case that involved another young girl.
I would think she would want to help her after what she went through. See all reviews. Top reviews from other countries. After a brief bit of research, I found out that this is a work of fiction.
